GEO, a local partner of our project, provided one-day training to entrepreneur candidates living in rural areas with Lisinia Doğa at the Center for Sustainable Development on the shores of Lake Burdur. Within the context of O3, 18 entrepreneur candidates participated in the training where Green Business Models module was applied. Within the scope of the training, the candidates were informed about topics such as developing eco-friendly business ideas, teamwork, validation of business idea and marketing strategies. At the same time, eco-farming models (Lavender Production and Oil) applied by Lisinia Doğa were shown. Lavender is also an important industrial agricultural production in terms of climate change and the efficient use of water resources. Besides, it is a very high added value product (1 liter is about 80 euro).
Entrepreneur candidates who attended the training stated that the training was very instructive and opened their horizons.
